National Peoples Power (NPP) Member of Parliament Lakshman Nipuna Arachchi has revealed that diplomatic steps will be initiated to secure the release of social security funds owed to Sri Lankan workers used in Cyprus.Speaking at an event in Colombo, the MP highlighted that a substantial problem has actually emerged, where Sri Lankan employees in Cyprus are unable to reclaim the social security contributions subtracted from their salaries.He ensured that steps are being taken to resolve the matter and assist in the return of these funds to Sri Lanka.
